What do I need to bring to my first visit?

Please bring a valid ID, your insurance card (if applicable), and any previous dental records if available.

Do you accept walk-ins or same-day appointments?

We try our best to accommodate same-day visits. Please call ahead for availability.

How much does a dental visit cost without insurance?

Our exam and cleaning packages start at affordable rates. Please contact us for the most accurate estimate.

Do you take my insurance?

Yes, we accept most major PPO dental insurance plans. Please call or text us, and we’ll gladly check your benefits.

Do you offer payment plans or financing?

Yes! We offer flexible payment options and partners with third-party financing like Cherry, CareCredit and Proceed Finances.

Do you take new patients?

Yes! We’re always excited to welcome new smiles to our practice.

What is your cancellation or no-show policy?

We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations to avoid a fee.

What dental services does ProsthDent provide?

ProsthDent offers a full range of dental services, including preventive and general dentistry such as cleaning, exams, and oral health screenings; cosmetic treatments like teeth whitening and veneers; restorative procedures including crowns, bridges, and full-mouth rehabilitation; and advanced implant dentistry, including All-on-4® full-arch restorations. We also provide tooth extractions, Invisalign®, emergency dental care, and sedation dentistry for patients with dental anxiety or those undergoing complex procedures.

Dr. Gonzalez specializes in complex full-mouth restorations and advanced implant dentistry, allowing most patients to receive comprehensive care in one convenient location without the need for multiple specialists.

Do you offer second opinions?

Yes, we do. We’re happy to review your case and give you honest recommendations.

Insurance & Payment

Do you accept PPO, HMO, or Medicaid?

We accept most PPO plans. Please contact us to check your specific plan. We do not currently accept Medicaid or HMOs.

Will my insurance cover this treatment?

Coverage varies, but we’re happy to check your benefits and explain what’s included.

Can you check my benefits before I come in?

Yes, just send us your insurance details and we’ll verify everything ahead of your visit.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, cash, and financing options. NO personal Checks.

Do you charge for consultations or second opinions?

Do you do veneers / bonding / smile makeovers?

Yes! We offer a full range of cosmetic services to help you love your smile.

Do you offer Invisalign or clear aligners?

Yes, we offer Invisalign and other aligner options for discreet smile straightening.

How long does teeth whitening last?

Results can last 6–12 months depending on your habits and maintenance.

What’s the difference between veneers and bonding?

Veneers are longer-lasting porcelain shells; bonding is a quicker, resin-based fix.

Is teeth whitening safe?

Yes, professional whitening is safe and closely monitored for comfort and results.

Can I fix just one tooth?

Yes, we can treat a single tooth with bonding, veneers, or reshaping — whatever suits you best.

Cleanings & Preventive Care

How often should I get a cleaning?

We recommend cleanings every 6 months, or more often if you have gum concerns.

What’s the difference between a regular cleaning and a deep cleaning?

A regular cleaning is preventive. A deep cleaning treats gum disease and goes below the gumline.

Do I really need X-rays every time?

Not every time — we take them as needed to ensure we’re seeing the full picture of your oral health.

How do I know if I have gum disease?

Symptoms include bleeding gums, bad breath, and gum recession. We’ll check for this at every visit.

Can you remove stains during a cleaning?

Yes, we remove surface stains during cleanings. For deeper stains, we also offer whitening.

What should I do if I’m in pain?

Call us immediately. We prioritize emergency patients and will help you as soon as possible.

Do you offer emergency dental care?

Yes, we do. Call or text us right away if you’re in pain or had an accident.

What if I chipped or broke a tooth?

Keep the area clean and call us — we’ll fit you in ASAP.

What if my crown or filling fell out?

Save the piece if possible and contact us for a same-day appointment.

What if I have swelling or an abscess?

This could be serious. Please contact us immediately so we can assess and treat it.

Yes, we offer calming options including nitrous, oral sedation and general sedation.
